SORRY, I'M LATE!

A first-person puzzle game inspired by Erik Erikson's stages of psychosocial development.

You play as a character who's known for always being late. On the way to meet a friend, you're unexpectedly abducted by Eriksonia, a strange creature from another universe called the Personality Centre. The only way home is to journey through a series of surreal worlds, each inspired by a different stage of psychosocial development. Ironically, although Eriksonia works in a place dedicated to helping people understand themselves, she lacks emotional intelligence herself, turning her into both an unreliable guide and an unexpected source of comedy.

The project explores how psychological theory can be experienced rather than explained. Instead of teaching through dialogue or text, each stage is translated into puzzles, environments and interactions that encourage players to reflect on identity, relationships and personal growth as they progress through the story.
